I am a hypnotherapist which means I hypnotize people to help them reach their goals. Hypnotherapy is probably the most misunderstood therapies due to the portrayal of hypnosis in media and stage shows, as one of the most common questions I get asked is if I’m going to make someone quack like a duck. While that may be fun to watch, the power of hypnosis goes way beyond that. The biggest misconception of hypnosis stems from the fear of a lack of control, but I can assure you that you actually gain control during a state of hypnosis.
Hypnosis is not a truth serum or mind control, it’s something that’s helped me turn my life around and has helped me with all sorts of goals — living a healthier, happier life, quitting smoking, and owning the control I have over my thoughts, emotions, and actions — just to name a few!
I’m not here to solely preach positive thinking but rather help you discover your own inner healing ability – I’m very much a firm believer and living proof that looking within and changing our limiting beliefs has a lasting and powerful impact on our lives. We do that by using the power of our subconscious mind during a state of hypnosis. And by the way, hypnosis occurs naturally on a daily basis. We experience it as we’re waking up or falling asleep, and while we’re driving, reading, listening to music, daydreaming, or even watching TV.
